Swix brushes are designed for brushing wax out of the structures (ski patterns) in ski bases and snowboards after you have used the plexi scraper. Brushes are also used before waxing to clean and open base for better wax absorption.

The stiff black nylon brush can be used as an all around brush or as a first brush for powders when using a two step ironing process to "brush up" the powder between ironing.
